Please join me in congratulating our Student Spotlight Winners and Staff Spotlight Winner for their exceptional contributions, positive attitudes, and embodiment of the PMHS values that make our school community so special.
Student Winner(s):
9th Grade: Ryleigh Helvitson
10th Grade: Jose Garcia Rodriguez
11th Grade: Daniel Ruiz Manrique
12th Grade: Sarah Whalen
Staff Winner(s): Ashley Serfass
Ashley stands out to me as a spotlight teacher because she is doing a phenomenal job transitioning from an elementary school teacher to a high school teacher. She cares so much about her students and is always trying to figure out ways to support them both inside and outside of the classroom. Ashley has also shown that she cares about being a part of the PMHS school community by volunteering for committees, and events that require staff participation. AMAZING addition to the PMHS team!
Ashley has made a fantastic transition to the high school level, and PMHS is lucky to have her. She’s currently organizing a project where her students write business letters to corporate partners to seek donations for the PMHS Care Closet, a perfect example of her student-centered and community-minded approach.
