English Department Summer Reading 2008

     
The PMHS English Department has a summer reading requirement. The reading selection will depend on which English course you have selected for next year. Books are available from the school to rent or at the following stores to purchase: Borders Books and Barnes and Noble. Pennsville’s Public Library has copies of most of these books to borrow, but obviously, not enough for everyone.  Also, you can find all of the summer readings online from Amazon.com.

Students will receive a study packet for each of the required reading selections. Extras will be available throughout the summer in the high school office or you can print them from the links below. Completed packets will be collected by your English teacher on the first day of school in September and may be graded.  All students who have required reading will be given a graded assessment of their assigned books upon return to school in September as well.
